SHOPPERS are flocking to Asda to get their hands on a winter warmer that costs just 70p and it will stop you reaching to putting the heating on.
The supermarket giant is selling a yellow super soft waffle knit throw in stores for less than a quid.
No, it’s not too good to be true, if don’t mind a little colour in your home, this essential can help keep snug this winter.
One shopper rushed to Facebook to let people know Asda has such an amazing steal.
They said in the B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More group: “Went into Asda yesterday looking for some small blankets to put over you whilst watching TV rather than putting the heating up.”
“Found this beauty of a bargain and they are waffle cut too so look fancy. They measure 150cm x 120cm. The colour is bright but well worth the money.”
The savvy shopper said they had managed to bag six of the throws and would be handing them out as Christmas gifts.
They said: “Originally the selling price was £7 each and yesterday they were only 70p! Managed to get the last 6 so guess what people will be getting for Christmas this year”
The post racked up over 310 likes online and fellow group members were equally as stunned to see the bargain.
One shopper said: “I got one of these paid full price but they’re really warm.”

Another said: “These are a bargain I have these and paid £8 each a year ago.”
“My sister has a basket of blankets in her lounge for the same purpose, turned the heating on but temp is only 16deg lol for now!!” claimed a third.
Chances are you won’t find anything remotely close to this price in other stores.
Zara’s waffle knit blankets start at £50, while prices in Dunelm start from £35.
B&Q’s prices are a bit more reasonable and start from £20.99.
It looks like the deal is currently only available in stores and the throw is still selling for full price on Asda’s website.
If you’re looking to nab this you will need to head in-store so check which store is closest to you using the Asda store locator.
Call ahead to see if the throw is in your local store to avoid a wasted journey.
Cheap ways to keep warm this winter
There are a few other ways you can keep warm this winter without breaking the bank.
Consider using a hot water bottle, they are always great for a cost-free way of keeping warm.
If you've got a few pennies to spare consider getting an electric blanket which is particularly useful in the night.
Don't forget preventative measures like draught excludes, they stop cold air coming in from underneath draughty doors.
You can get some for as little as a fiver in most stores but a thick blanket rolled up will work just as well.
Loft insulation is also very important as it can stop heat escaping, therefore slashing your heating bill.
You can buy insulation from all local builder merchants or retailers such as B&Q and Wickes.
In other news, shoppers are rushing to buy a £18 gadget that will stop you from having to put the heating on.
