BBC weather presenter Paul Hudson left his co-star Peter Levy squirming on the red sofa after making a very rude joke on last night’s instalment of Look North.
The hilarious moment came about when Paul made a cheeky gag to Peter about their being “nothing wrong with his equipment” during his weather report.
During yesterday’s episode of Look North – a daily local news broadcast on the BBC for people in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire – Peter 68, handed over the reins to weatherman Paul, 52, for the latest update.
Their exchange began when Peter checked in with the weather reporter about the equipment for Hudson’s presentation, which had been down during his lunchtime broadcast.
While confirming that it had indeed been fixed for his evening report, Paul took the opportunity to crack a cheeky joke, saying that there’s nothing wrong with his equipment, as evidenced by the birth of his baby daughter.
Turning to his co-star, Peter said: “At lunchtime, his equipment wasn’t working. Is it repaired?”

“Well, I think you’ll find my 10-week daughter proves there’s nothing wrong with my equipment,” Paul fired back.
Immediately, there was silence in the studio as Peter was left squirming on the red sofa before he eventually broke out laughing.
While Peter was visibly shocked, Paul shrugged back and said, “Well, you asked.”
Regaining his composure and shutting down his co-stars cheeky remarks, Peter replied: “Right, let’s just have the forecast.”
