Strictly: Vito likens Ellie Leach to a ‘diamond’
Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach admitted that her partner Vito Coppola had “let her down” during their performance on Saturday night.
It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara noted: “Vito, Anton [du Beke] noticed that you did not point your feet in the cartwheel. You let us down, you let us down.”
Ellie emphasised: “He let me down!” leaving Janette to add: “But it is ok because he thought everything else was perfect so was this your favourite dance with Ellie?”
Vito explained: “The fact is, every week I say ‘Oh this is my favourite dance’ and now this week I say this is my favourite dance so yes at the moment it is my favourite.”
Ellie and Vito have been tearing up the dance floor since week one and continue to work on their chemistry with one another.

However, fans have been convinced that the pair are secretly an item and feel they have let slip on their romance.
Sharing a series of photos of them on his Instagram, Vito penned: “Live the present and be grateful for what you have in life.
“Be happy for waking up every morning and appreciate the small things. This makes the real Happiness. These are the words that Lulú and I keep repeating to each other.” (sic)
Ellie replied in the comments: “Always live in the present and appreciate the little things. so lucky and grateful for this experience with you xxx.” (sic)

Strictly fans were sent into a meltdown when they saw the interaction between the pair and began to comment on their speculated romance.
One follower noted: “I get that this is just a photoshoot and that you just dance partners and friends BUT half the country are now hoping that you might be more than ‘just friends’. Just saying!”
A second said: “Tell me you’re a couple without telling me you’re a couple!!”
A third added: “I love you guys! You two are a match made in heaven – the laughs and chemistry just show every week looks effortless and not forced and that really matters.” (sic)
Ellie and Vito have not yet commented on whether their relationship is anything more than friends.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday from 7:30pm on BBC One, followed by the results on Sunday from 7:15pm on BBC One.
