Beyond Paradise and Death in Paradise cast united in crossover
Beyond Paradise fans are going to be gifted with a Christmas special this month on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, bosses have confirmed.
Leading stars Kris Marshall, Sally Bretton, Zahra Ahmadi and Dylan Llewellyn will be returning to Shipton Abbott alongside an exciting guest cast.
The famous faces starring in the festive episode are The Vicar of Dibley’s James Fleet, Sandition’s Isaac Vincent-Nortgate, Endeavour’s Amalia Vitale and Benidorm’s Sheila Reid. Kulvinder Ghir will also be making a guest appearance in the special episode, the BBC has confirmed.
Meanwhile, Chris Jenks will be back to play Josh Woods, with Jade Harrison as CS Charlie Woods and Eva Feiler as Lucy.

Within the special episode, Humphrey and the team as confused by a range of bizarre burglaries which are not quite what they seem.
However, when Humphrey and co make a breakthrough, it is a bittersweet discovery which makes them “reconsider the true meaning of Christmas”.
A synopsis for the episode reads: “Back at the station, Kelby is forced to babysit a cheeky young shoplifter and Humphrey feels the pressure when CS Charlie Woods continues to question why their beloved local police station should remain open.

“Meanwhile, navigating the trials and tribulations of family life, Esther’s teenage daughter, Zoe (played by Melina Sinadinou), is less than impressed when she is made to work in Santa’s Grotto.
“And a chance encounter gives Martha food for thought about the future…”
The tinsel-covered episode is filmed around Devon and Cornwall ahead of series two returning in 2024.
Speaking about filming for season two of Beyond Paradise, Kris told Radio Times: “I’m beyond excited to have begun filming the second series of Beyond Paradise.
“Shipton Abbott is such a wonderful location to call home for a while and it’s a delight to join up with my fellow police team for another batch of weird and wonderful cases, and to see what’s in store for Humphrey and Martha in the next chapter of their lives.”
