Celebrity-loved ColorWow hair mist that gives a glass-like shine is slashed to £22 in Amazon deal

Whenever you clock an A-lister’s glossy locks, it’s easy to assume it's a result of hours spent in a salon chair with a whole team of stylists at their disposal. And yes, that is mostly true. However, there’s one product that’s not only a go-to for some of our fave famous faces, but it was created by a celebrity hairstylist, so you know it’s going to be good.

COLORWOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, £22.60 here (was £27), was created by Chris Appleton, who is known as Kim Kardashian’s go-to stylist for everything from public appearances to the Met Gala, and is designed to give sleek, glass-like hair in just a few simple steps that anyone (yes, literally anyone) can do at home.

The spray works by coating your hair in a protective cloak which not only tames frizz and gives it a glossy shine, but also protects it from rain and humidity to keep it looking sleek for up to four washes.

To use COLORWOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, £22.60 here (was £27), towel dry your hair after washing then divide it into sections, before liberally spraying the ColorWow onto your damp (not wet) tresses. You want to use a lot of the product – your hair should feel wet again – before using heat and tension to activate the smoothing properties.

This is key to making the spray work – air drying just won’t cut it, unfortunately, so you need to grab your hair dryer and a brush and dry your hair, pulling it taut with your brush as you go to create the silky smooth finish.

Granted, it adds an extra element to your usual hair styling routine, but considering Kim K reportedly paid Chris a whopping £10k to style her Met Gala ponytail, we’re just grateful the spray will usually only set us back £27. However, for a limited time on Amazon you can get it even cheaper, with the COLORWOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray slashed from £27 to just £22.60 here, making it even more of a bargain if you’re in pursuit of celeb-worthy hair.

It’s not just us mere mortals who can benefit from the spray, either. The ColorWow dream coat has been used to create the sleek locks of Kim K, Jennifer Lopez and Maya Jama to name just a few, making it one of the most coveted hair styling products around.

If £22 is still a little out of budget for you, Hair Proud’s Glass Hair, £8.95 here, works just the same to create smooth, frizz-free, glass-like tresses at an even more reasonable cost. Just like the A-list-approved version, Hair Proud’s spray is heat activated and creates a waterproof barrier that’s infused with hyaluronic acid and glycerin to hydrate and nourish it whilst leaving it looking shiny and silky soft.
