Coronation Street cast are all smiles as they head to NTAs to take on EastEnders and Emmerdale | The Sun

THE CORRIE Street cast are raring to go as they head to the National Television Awards to take on dramas EastEnders and Emmerdale.

The huge annual awards ceremony is being hosted in the O2 arena tonight and stars from the famous soap were all smiles as they boarded a train headed for the capital.

Coronation Street is up against Emmerdale, EastEnders and Hollyoaks for the Serial Drama award.

Andy Whyment posted a group photo to his Instagram account as he travels to the NTAs with Daniel Brocklebank, Claire Sweeney, Sally Carman, Joe Duttine, and Peter Ash.

The actors looked comfortable in casual clothes as they grinned at the camera wearing t-shirts and shorts.

Several of them reposted the image to their stories, sharing their excitement at the upcoming ceremony.
