Coronation Street spoiler sees Audrey tell family about attempt on her own life

It's all about to kick off on Coronation Street this week as Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) celebrates her 18th birthday and her guardian Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) hands her a letter her dad asked him to give her.

She admits she’s scared to open it and later has an argument with Billy about her diabetes treatment. But when she finally reads the letter, will it change her outlook?

At the salon reopening, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) tells her family about her suicide attempt. She reveals she has now made an ordinary will, splitting her money equally between them. When she says Stephen Reid – Audrey's biological son – has been left out as he doesn’t need the cash, Stephen (Todd Boyce) is shocked.

Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) insists his son Aadi (Adam Hussain) and Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) are too young to marry.

As he and Aadi argue, Dev grabs Aadi, who falls and hurts his head. Dev apologises and when Aadi later hands back Sunita’s engagement ring, Dev thinks the engagement is off. But is it?

Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews) realises Leo Thompson (Joe Frost) is regretting turning down the job in Canada. She tells him she doesn’t want to stand in his way.

Meanwhile, Stephen is taking a sudden interest in Jenny after discovering that she is the sole owner of the pub.
The pair end up kissing in the back room – just as Leo arrives clutching an engagement ring.

It comes after Kelly slept with Aadi after persuading him to enter a Win A Dream Wedding competition, saying they’ll use it as a free holiday.

When they decided to prep for a Mr and Mrs quiz, the young couple realised how sexually inexperienced they are, and ended up sleeping together.

Soon after, Kelly was touched when Aadi gave her his mum’s engagement ring, but her happiness didn't last long.

Aadi later told his sister Asha (Tanisha Gorey) that it was make-believe, leaving Kelly feeling hurt and betrayed by Aadi.

After feeling upset with him, she stole his car before Aadi found the car crashed.
