EMMERDALE star Amy Nuttall has today revealed a heartbreaking new tragedy.
This latest devastating news comes after her marriage split with her "cheating" TV star husband Andrew Buchan, 44.
But now the former soap star, 41, has revealed her fresh pain, after telling fans that her mum has cancer.
Amy made the revelation after she thanked EastEnders star Dannielle Harold for her moving performance as tragic Lola, who died of a brain tumour.
The role saw the young actress scoop an NTA, something which didn't go unnoticed by Amy.
Taking to Twitter, the Downton Abbey star tweeted: "@DHaroldOfficial massive congrats on your huge achievement at #NTA2023.

This latest heartbreaking news comes as Amy continues to endure the pain of the breakdown of her marriage.
Just last month The Sun revealed how Amy had kicked her Broadchurch star husband Andrew out of their family home — for the second time.
Friends said the actor, failed to stick to marriage “rules” drawn up by his wife and add the relationship looks over for good.

A source said: “It took a lot for Amy to give the marriage another chance but she thought it was worth one final roll of the dice.
“There is no suggestion he has cheated again, but as far as she is concerned this is it.
“She is obviously gutted but also accepts that their time together has come to an end.”
The Sun revealed in February that Andrew — Amy’s husband of 11 years and father of her two children — had ditched her for Leila Farzad, his co-star in BBC crime thriller Better.
Then in July we told how Amy had issued an ultimatum to Andrew, with seven strict rules if they were to get back on track.
These included full access to each other’s phones and, if he was working away, to check in via FaceTime.
He was also to have zero contact with Leila.
At the time a source said: “Amy doesn’t want to throw away over a decade together but at the same time she is far from a pushover.
“They will adopt the 7-7-7 approach which means every seven days you go on a date, every seven weeks you go away for the night and every seven months you go on holiday — just the two of you.”
Amy had become suspicious when she found sexy lingerie shortly before Christmas that was not in her size.
A source said: “The penny started to drop over a period of time.
“He was away a lot, which wasn’t unusual because of the nature of his work.
“But at one point Amy realised he had been staying in hotels near to home — and wondered why.
“As time moved on, there were some tell-tale signs that he had become close to Leila — just something in his mannerisms and in their social media posts together.
