GEMMA Atkinson has revealed her fears about having sex with partner Gorka Marquez again.
The 38-year-old told how she was given the OK to be intimate again following her six-week "mummy MOT" last month.
But she admitted she felt tired and not in the mood, and was worried about her "new" body looking different.
She revealed that she was relieved when Gorka turned down the change to get intimate , when he returned home from work for one night.
Talking about the couple's first opportunity for ages after the July birth, Gemma, 38, said she felt tired and not in the mood, and was worried about her "new" body looking different.
The actress and radio presenter, who starred in Hollyoaks, Casualty and Emmerdale, said: "He was away for three weeks up until last weekend, and I'd had my six week check by then, and she'd ok'ed me to be kind of be intimate again with him again and stuff.

"Part of me was thinking 'Oh my God, I can't be arsed, I'm so tired, I just want to have a bath'.
"But the other half was thinking 'It's been so long', because the last few months of pregnancy I was like 'Do not come near me'.
"So it's that whole thing of reminding myself 'Ok, I'm a fiancée, I was this before I was a mum', and kind of pulling myself out of that you know big knickers, horrendous dressing gown, not washed for days vibe, into 'right, he's back for one night only, let's kind of get back into it'.”
Speaking on the Made by Mammas podcast, she continued: "Thankfully when he got home, it was like half eleven at night, I said 'Are you alright?'. He went 'Yeah, I'm tired'. And I thought 'Yes!'.

"I said 'The thought was there from my end at least', but because it didn't have to happen then and there, I was like 'well it's fine, it's worked in my favour, but the thought was there, and the effort was there, so I've got a small kind of point anyway'."
The couple, who have a daughter Mia, four, welcomed their son Thiago into the world in July after Gemma had a C-section.
Gemma went on to explain how she felt about her body, saying: “It was that whole kind of your body looks different. Everything is different. I've got a scar there.
"So it was totally fine, and Gorka, he's the best in making me feel I could be any size, shape, whatever.
"He always makes out he's obsessed with me in that way. He is very much hands on all the time, whereby if he walks past me in the kitchen he'll give me a little hug, or just a little kiss on the neck, whereas I'm 'Oh my God, leave me be', which is awful."
