Huge Love Island star from the show's 'best ever' series makes shock return to reality TV | The Sun

LOVE Island star Joe Garratt is making a return to reality TV, after four years away.

The 27-year-old shot to fame on the fifth series of the ITV2 dating show in 2019.


But The Sun can exclusively reveal that Joe is now getting a second shot at fame – and love.

We can reveal that he will be taking part in the new series of Celebrity Ex On The Beach.

The show sees reality stars live in a villa, where they must come face to face with their ex partners.

Past celebs who have taken part include Joey Essex and Megan Barton-Hanson.

The Sun has contacted a rep for Ex On The Beach broadcaster MTV.

Joe shot to fame when he appeared on Love Island alongside some of the show's most iconic Islanders.

In fact series 5, which aired over the summer of 2019, included stars like Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, and Maura Higgins.

Whilst in the villa Joe was coupled up the stunning Lucie Donlan.

Although they tried to make it work on the outside, they ended up splitting up and she is now engaged to Winter Love Island star Luke M 

But Joe hasn't done too badly himself since leaving the villa, and has been linked to a string of beauties, which included Maisie Smith

He has also overhauled his look, and transformed himself into a muscle man.

Meanwhile, Joe recently revealed the reason why the Islanders like to whisper in the villa.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun he said: "So you know every year when everyone goes 'oh my god so and so is whispering a lot', 'so and so whispers'…

"I got a lot of it – 'Joe whispers a lot'. 

"You whisper because you're so close to one another so you can hear what everyone is saying… unless you whisper! Or murmur a little bit and then noone can hear you.

"So it's more like a faint noise, if you're really loud they can hear it.

"You have to go to the corners of the villa basically, or get in the pool!"
