I want to report sick man who abused me as a child but my mum won't support me | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: MY mum will not help me report the man who abused me as a child.

Iโ€™m a woman of 24 now and was a victim of her brother from the age of seven.

My mum, 51, and her brother, 53, have always been close and she relied on him over the years to babysit me when working night shifts.

I adored him at first as he would spoil me.

But soon he started doing inappropriate things, then threatening to kill himself if I ever told.

Recently I opened up to my mum, but she has ridiculed my claims, and says she will never speak to me again if I report him.

I love Mum but I have to speak out.
