Jacqueline Jossa 'so proud' as daughter Ella arrives for her first day at performing arts school

JACQUELINE Jossa was overcome with joy as she revealed her eldest daughter has followed in her performing footsteps.

The 27-year-old took to Instagram to share a snap of Ella clad in her ballet gear ready for a class at the actress' performing arts school, the Jac Jossa Academy.

Beaming for the shot, the five-year-old looked adorable in her pink ballet skirt, leotard and wrap cardigan as she posed infront of a wall with her academy's crest across it.

The I'm A Celeb star captioned the post: "Ballet for Ella today, in mummies academy 💓 wow pinch me.

"So glad to be open again, Ella to get back into it. So proud. Look at my little one. 😇"

The former EastEnders star opened her performing arts school in September 2019 in Bexleyheath, Kent.

According to the academy's website, students can take classes in a variety of different dance styles and drama.

There are classes for pre-school aged children as well as for those aged five to 16. Her academy also offers adult classes in singing, drama and dance fitness.

Jacqueline became a household name playing Lauren Branning in BBC's EastEnders until 2018.

During her time on the show she was involved in several major plot lines, including a twisted love triangle with brothers Peter and Steven Beale, falling in love with her cousin and becoming an alcoholic following her mum's cancer diagnosis.

The TV star won four awards for her portrayal of the character, including Sexiest Female twice at the Inside Soap Awards.

When Jacqueline fell pregnant, Lauren disappeared from screens in February 2015, and returned permanently in May 2016.

Despite this, she did make a brief appearance during the murder trial of her dad Max Branning in September 2015.

Jacqueline left the soap in February 2018, although the character's abrupt departure left fans confused.

She disappeared following her sister Abi's funeral, who fell from a roof with Lauren – but it wasn't clear where she went or who with.

Since she left Walford, Jacqueline won I'm A celeb in December and has launched a range with online retailer InThe Style as well as a tan line with cosmetics company BPerfect.
