Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson ‘text all the time’ but she WON’T date him seriously again amid Kanye West drama | The Sun

KIM Kardashian and Pete Davidson are still in regular contact following their split – but won’t be getting back together.

The reality star, 42, thinks her life is “too messy” because of the ongoing drama with ex Kanye West and she’s unwilling to risk hurting Pete’s feelings with something serious again.

An insider told The Sun: "They do still talk a lot, they are good friends and laugh a lot – he's holding in there and tells her that he would jump on a plane at a moment's notice for her.

“But Kim thinks life is just too messy now and she doesn't want anything serious right now – while he clearly does. She doesn't want to string him along, she doesn't want to do that and give him hope there's a chance when she knows there's not."

Kim called time on her nine-month whirlwind romance with the comic in August, blaming their demanding work schedules.

The mum-of-four met Pete when she guest hosted US telly show Saturday Night Live following her split from Kanye.

But rapper Kanye was a constant thorn in their side, publicly belittling Pete and sharing messages between them on social media.

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye last year and a court declared her legally single in March.

Thing have gone from bad to worse with Kanye – who is the father of her four childnre.

The latest controversy kicked off at Paris Fashion Week three weeks ago, when Kanye wore a "White Lives Matter" shirt, considered by many to be a racist response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Days later he said he was going "death con 3 on Jewish people", an apparent referral to the US military's Defense Readiness Condition (Defcon), which indicates the level of threat to national security.

The billionaire went on to allege he wasn't "anti-Semitic because black people are actually Jew also" and that he is the victim of a "Jewish underground media mafia".

Yet during an interview on Uncensored with Piers Morgan on TalkTV, he insisted he did not regret his anti-Semitic remarks, though he later apologised for the "hurt" and "confusion" he had caused.

This week Kim, who is one of the most followed celebrities on social media, was forced to condem his behaviour, posting on her accounts: "Hate speech is never OK or excusable. The Sun has contacted Kim’s rep for comment.
