Louise Redknapp says "it's all good" with her new boyfriend, businessman Drew Michael.
The former Eternal band member, 48, is now six years separated from ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, whom she shares two children with in teenagers Charley and Beau.
Speaking to The Mirror after being spotted out and about in London with Drew, a 39 year old strategic war equipment supplier, Louise remained coy when asked how the relationship was going.
"It’s so difficult with your personal life… it’s all good," she replied. "Yeah, I’ve got nothing else to say on it, everything about it has already been written."
Since divorcing retired footballer Jamie, 50, who played for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur during his career, Louise made sure to stay single for the good of their children, even though her ex went on to tie the knot with model Frida Andersson.
"I’ve felt this as a mum and, to say this in the most sort of respectful way, my boys' lives changed dramatically and then it changed again when obviously Jamie got married and had a family," she reflected. "Their life changed and I felt like I needed to be their one staple."
This comes just a couple of months after the star, who reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing with professional Kevin Clifton in 2016, told The Sun that she wasn't "actively" seeking a fresh romance.
"I'm just open to what may happen, I'm not actively out there looking, it's not my number-one goal in life," explained Louise. "But, if it goes that way and I met somebody who swept me off my feet and was amazing and kind and great, then I'd be so open to exploring that."
However, she was firmly in the old-school camp of face-to-face meetings as opposed to opening a dating app account.
The reasoning? She'd put so much energy into "rebuilding" her career after a lengthy sabbatical and demanded respect in her area of work.
"If I did meet that great person, I would never hide it," she went on to add. "If they are right, they are right. And I would be the first to embrace it and share it. But I’m not at the stage in life where I want to just do something for the sake of it. If it happens, it happens. And if it doesn’t, it doesn’t."
Meanwhile, OK! sources recently claimed that close friend Denise Van Outen was helping a lonely Louise get back on the saddle.
"They’ve been having a lot of fun and get on really really well, Louise is really appreciative of Denise’s support," they reported.
"Jamie is happy and married now so Louise can feel lonely. Denise has been through a public split and got the T-shirt so she gets it and wants to get Louise back to her best. Denise just wants to get Louise out and about. It’s about having some girl time and enjoying themselves so that Louise starts to feel really good again."
