MAFS bride Erica shares behind the scenes wedding secrets – from dress budget to venue

The current season of Married At First Sight UK is in full swing and has drama aplenty.

And as she graces the small screen, bride Erica Roberts has taken to TikTok to share some secrets from the big day – where she married a stranger.

Edinburgh-born and bred Erica has revealed that brides on the show get a £1,200 budget for their wedding dresses, but this also includes all accessories, shoes and bridesmaid outfits.

She and Jordan, who appear to be getting on well since meeting on their big day, tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony. However, before showing up to their own wedding, the couple had no idea where they were going.

Erica told her followers: "We don't see the venue, at all, until you're there. So, you have no idea where you're getting married until you're getting married."

While they don't make all the decisions, the couples do get a say in their special day. She continued: "But for the wedding, you do get a questionnaire where you answer what colour scheme you would like, what flowers, what kind of, vibe of wedding you want, what favours you want on the table.

"Every single thing that I asked for, I didn't get," laughed Erica. "I matched my bridesmaid dresses to the flowers and colour scheme, so when I saw orange and yellow flowers, it was not the vibe. It was the only thing I was really fuming about on the day."

While Erica and Jordan's relationship has been smooth sailing so far on-screen, with the pair even dubbing themselves one of the "strongest" couples on the show, Jordan is set for some drama with a fellow co-star.

In scenes not yet aired, Jordan is rumoured to get into a heated row with groom Luke, who apparently punches him and, in turn, gets booted from the E4 dating show.

Showing that their is truth behind the drama, Jordan took to social media this week to say that Luke's “mask is slipping” after the show's most recent dinner party.

After Luke defended co-star JJ for catching feelings for another wife, Ella, and not informing his own wife, Bianca, Jordan took to TikTok.

Talking to the camera, he said: “So we have all seen Luke desperately trying to defend himself since last night’s dinner party and it’s actually embarrassing. He’s crying on his stories and in the comments section, calling people haters just because they disagree with him.

“You’ll see over the next couple of weeks if anyone has a different opinion to Luke, he loses his head, he gets emotional. That’s why he hates me.I don’t even know what point you were trying to make last night but I know full well, if you were in Bianca’s position, you would not like it.”
