Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream: Zoe Ball explains the show
Five years on from Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and not only are fans ready for a threequel, but so are the cast and producer.
Both Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried have said in recent interviews that they’d love to make Mamma Mia 3.
Now as the new reality competition show Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream is set to air on TV, the producer of both movies has all but confirmed that the threequel will happen.
Alan Carr is one of the judges in the new series’ search for the next actress to play Sophie in the ABBA West End musical.
And during a recent interview, the comedian let slip details on Mamma Mia 3.

Carr told Capital Breakfast: “I’ve got an exclusive for you, Judy Craymer the producer has said that I’m gonna be in Mamma Mia 3, yes, and she said this and we did a press conference and I said ‘Say it say it’ because she’d had a few wines when she said it so I wanted her to say it in front of all the press. I’m going to Hollywood baby!”
Craymer herself has already recently spoken out on the ABBA threequel in a recent interview.

Speaking with Variety, Craymer said: “I’m sure [the third movie] will happen. I’m in the privileged position that I have Universal Studios wanting to do it, who I love working with, and I have a storyline.
“Bjorn and Benny always take a certain amount of convincing. I don’t know how much more convincing they’re gonna have because everybody wants another film.”
