Meghan Markle has officially returned to the public fore, and she’s done so with inimitable style.
Ahead of her and Prince Harry’s fairytale-like appearance at the Endeavor Fund Awards on Thursday evening, the Duchess of Sussex made a solo trip to the National Theatre in London, where she’s been a royal patron since January 2019.
According to royal expert Omid Scobie, Markle visited the venue’s Immersive Storytelling Studio, which employs holograms in an effort to take visitors on a “musical journey to reflect the influence of West Indian and black culture on the UK music scene.”
The former Suits star wore all white for the outing, arriving in a Topshop blouse with sheer sleeves ($55; topshop.com) and a pencil skirt with a slit up the front and an embossed zigzag pattern covering the fabric. Markle accessorized with a gold pendant necklace, small gold earrings, and a black mini purse.
On the couple's official Instagram account, they explained the visit sharing several pictures of the Duchess and writing, " Yesterday, The Duchess of Sussex, Royal patron of the National Theatre, visited the Immersive Storytelling Studio in London, where emerging technology like Virtual Reality is being used to develop new forms of emotive storytelling."
Glad to have you back, Meg.
