Mrs Hinch cringes over family meal with leaking nappy and phone in glass of Coke

Mrs Hinch has opened up about how a family meal with her husband and two sons ended in disaster recently.

The influencer, 32, took to her Instagram Stories to detail the "terrible" family outing as she and Jamie, 42, drove home with their young children, Ronnie, three, and one year old Lennie.

"We took the boys out to a nice restaurant for lunch… it was terrible to be honest," Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, told her 4.5 million followers.

The mum-of-two went on to detail what had happened during the outing and revealed that while one son's nappy that "exploded" the other had placed her mobile phone into a glass of Coke.

She also added that neither of her two children "wanted to eat a single thing", resulting in a disastrous outing for all involved.

"Lennies nappy explosion ended up everywhere including the floor Ronnie put my phone into a pint glass of coke And neither of them wanted to eat a single thing," Sophie explained as she made her way home.

She said the family outing had left her feeling "scarred for life," and concluded her story by adding: "And now on our way home… I feel scarred for life. Yet Jamie thinks I want to listen to the reason why he lost a game of go karting the other night. Cheers," along with a thumbs up emoji.

Sophie's family lunch mishap comes after she recently revealed that she's gifted her old home in Essex to another family and not charged a single penny for it.

She and Jamie have moved into a sprawling farmhouse, which she has lovingly nicknamed Hinch Farm, along with their children and pet dog Henry, and instead of renting out or selling their previous property, they've decided to give it away.

As reported by The Sun, Mrs Hinch gave an update on the status of her former house. She said: “We haven’t sold the house.

"We are not renting out the house, we are just handing our keys over to an incredible family to start a new chapter in their lives so they too can build a life they have also dreamed of.

“To even be in a position to do this is something I’ll never truly believe and never stop being thankful for. But personally for me, to see another family have some relief and happiness in their life that they deserved because they have been through so much is one of the most incredible feelings in the world.”

The Hinchcliffe family's former residence featured heavily on Sophie's Instagram profile and ultimately contributed to her success as a cleaning influencer.

Having amassed a whopping 4.5 million followers over recent years, she is now believed to be worth a jaw-dropping £1.5 million and boasts celebrities as friends including Stacey Solomon, 32.

Sophie has carved out a career as a cleaning expert and DIY enthusiast and has gone on to launch her own homeware and clothing ranges with Tesco, as well as three cleaning books and a memoir.
