Pete Wicks has called for a "restraining order" against his good pal Sam Thompson as he made his entrance on I'm A Celebrity.
Made in Chelsea star Sam, 31, made his grand debut on the ITV show as he joined three of his co-stars on Sunday night's launch show (November 19). In the episode, he was paired with EastEnders star Danielle Harold, First Dates maitre d' Fred Sirieix and food critic Grace Dent on a skyscraper.
As Sam met his fellow campmates as they joined him on the top of the skyscraper, Thompson was left shocked. When he saw each contest join him, he gave both a tight hug to embrace and welcome them.

Sam, Grace, Fred and Danielle then had to walk across a boardwalk hanging off the skyscraper to win a meal for camp. Thompson was left straddling the walkway as he edged out to collect his star, as winds picked up making it ever more treacherous.
After completing the challenge, all four campmates were able to make their way into the jungle, where they are currently surviving for the next three weeks. However, TOWIE star Pete has appealed for a "restraining order" against Sam on behalf of the other contestants.
In a video uploaded to his Instagram profile, Sam could be seen tightly embracing each of his fellow co-stars. The clip was posted along with the caption: "Do you think Sam's a hugger? #imaceleb."
Taking to the comments section, Sam's girlfriend – Strictly Come Dancing and Love Island star Zara McDermott gave her thoughts. Joking in her remarks, she wrote: "The hugs themselves aren’t the issue, it’s the momentum from way he launches himself that’s the issue."
But Pete – with whom Sam hosts a successful podcast – was even more scathing in his comments. He quipped: "Multiple restraining orders from the rest of the camp when he's back in the UK."
After only one episode, Sam has already endeared himself to the public, with the video being swamped with support from viewers. One fan watching commented: "I love Sam’s authenticity! Such an inspiration to others with neurodivergence," followed by two kisses.
A second user agreed, writing: "Think we could all do with a few more people like Sam in the world giving genuine hugs." Whilst a third profile said: "I just love that he’s the biggest hype man. I bet he makes everyone feel amazing."
I'm A Celebrity airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
