ABC’s “Emergence” season finale doesn’t emerge from anything
The CW fired off its final “Arrow” on Tuesday, when the series finale actually dropped 21% in total viewers from last week. It stayed steady in the key demo.
Moving back from 8 o’clock to 9 p.m. probably didn’t help. The “Arrow” finale’s lead-in was an “Arrow” retrospective special.
Over on ABC, the “Emergence” season finale didn’t make any case for a renewal. As per usual on Tuesdays, NBC topped the demo and CBS was No. 1 in viewers.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.0 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 5.4 million, according to preliminary numbers.
CBS was second in ratings with a 0.9 and first in viewers with 9.1 million.
Fox was third in ratings with a 0.6 and in viewers with 3.1 million.
ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.5 and in viewers with 2.8 million. The “Emergence” season finale at 10 settled for a 0.3 rating and 1.9 million viewers.
The “Arrow” finale drew a 0.3 rating and 723,000 viewers.
More to come…
