TROUBLE is on its way to Smithy Cottage in the Dales when Mary Goskirk hatches a plan.
The Emmerdale favourite shocks her own daughter Rhona as she tries to help Gus Malcolms cope with his baby daughter Ivy.
Gus Malcolms (played by Alan McKenna) became a father to a baby girl named Ivy in the midst of tragedy as his wife Lucy passed away in childbirth.
Since then, he has been trying to cope with his grief and fatherhood but he may have bitten more off than he can chew.
To top it all off, tensions are high between him and his former wife Rhona Goskirk (Zoë Henry) as she found out he had used one of her frozen embryos without her consent.
Despite this, Rhona's mother Mary (Louise Jameson) decides to help a grief-stricken Gus with his daughter Ivy.
