Sharon Osbourne admits angers gone over Talk exit but hits out at CBS staff

Sharon Osbourne, 70, was removed from CBS’ The Talk following a heated on-air debate with former co-star Sheryl Underwood in March 2021.

In this, she defended her close friend Piers Morgan after he was sacked from UK breakfast show Good Morning Britain for claiming Meghan Markle was not suicidal.

Their explosive dispute forced production into a two-week hiatus with allegations then emerging Osbourne made racist remarks about co-hosts behind the scenes at The Talk, which she vehemently denied.

CBS then released a statement, parting ways with Sharon in 2021, leaving her fuming over the whole situation.

The wife of Ozzy Osbourne has now spoken in a new interview admitting she is no longer upset about the situation.

She told the MailOnline: “But it’s gone, any feelings of anger have long gone.

“You just have to move on, don’t you? I’m not a victim. I’m not, you know, ‘Woe is me, everybody’s an a***hole,’ we just move on, don’t we?”

Sharon then continued her expletives, as she added: “Everybody at CBS is a***holes, but you just move on… You can’t keep looking back.”

The former X Factor judge also said she doesn’t want what happened to “be the last thing people know of” her.

Sharon ended her run on the talk show after 11 seasons in March 2021 amid the network’s investigation into allegations she made racist comments.

CBS released the statement: “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home.

“As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace.

“We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.”

Over the two years since the incident, Sharon has moved over to the UK’s TalkTV, as well as sharing her recent project with her family, The Osbournes Podcast.

Speaking to the MailOnline of the project, she said: “We never really had a filter and we’re not going to have one now.

“It’s just really freeing to be able to say what you want to say even though sometimes you say things you shouldn’t or that you don’t really mean. You know, you can always apologize.”

Sharon will be on the podcast with her husband Ozzy and two of their children: Kelly and Jack Osbourne.
