A NEW favourite has been tipped to take the helm at This Morning.
Storm Huntley is the front runner to jump ship from her Channel 5 show to the ITV morning hit.
The news comes after Holly Willoughby sensationally quit the flagship magazine show following an alleged kidnap plot.
The blonde presenter told fans: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.
"To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much.
"This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together. I will not be returning to This Morning."
Coral betting specialist John Hill said: “Our betting suggests Storm Huntley is at the top of ITV’s shortlist to replace Holly Willoughby on This Morning.
"The Scottish presenter is very familiar with morning television and she is proving very popular with punters for the role."
A string of other presenters are also in the mix to bag a spot on the daytime staple including Alison Hammond at 5/2 and Davina McCall at 8/1.
However at 6/4 the telly fave Storm is the bookies favourite to grab a place on the iconic blue sofa.

And a PR expert reckons advertisers will be "queuing up to return to the programme" if Storm Huntley jumps ship to ITV.
Storm has proved a hit with fans, as a co-host on Channel 5's Jeremy Vine programme, before landing her own talk show at the station.
Andy Barr, boss at 10 Yetis, told the Scottish Sun: "Storm Huntley is fast rising up the bookies odds to make the jump over to ITV's This Morning."
