\u201cIt\u2019s one of those things when people are like, \u2018How do you balance it?\u2019 I never feel like I\u2019m doing it right, you know,\u201d she said at the time.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut this year I\u2019m not working. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we\u2019re in the last year of single digits,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd I just feel there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they\u2019re little\u201d<\/p>\n

She also shared that the decision came from her picking up \u201cintense\u201d and \u201ctime-consuming\u201d projects in the last year, which took a toll on her family life.<\/p>\n
While they don\u2019t often share a look at their kids in public, the pair haven\u2019t shied away from talking about them in interviews, especially when it comes to how their daughters see their careers. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhen I see myself up on a billboard, I have this complete dissociation with it\u2026I\u2019m like, \u2018Who\u2019s that?\u2019\u201d she said in a Harper\u2019s Bazaar UK interview in July. \u201cAnd I can see my children doing the same\u2013they might say, \u2018Oh, there\u2019s Mama,\u2019 but it\u2019s not exciting for them.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s exciting for them is when I can pick them up from school and take them swimming,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Don’t miss… <\/strong> Krasinski, meanwhile, shared in December that their daughters were actually convinced he wasn\u2019t an actor and worked in an actual office for a standard 9-5 job, because they didn\u2019t know what The Office, the show he starred on for nine seasons, was.<\/p>\n \u201cThe reason I think that is because I was walking them to school one day, and this guy came up, and he was very nice, he went, \u2018John! From The Office!,\u2019\u201d he recalled during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. \u201cI went \u2018Yeah,\u2019 and he said, \u2018Oh my God, it\u2019s so good to see you,\u2019 and I said, \u2018Thanks\u2019 and he kept walking.\u201d<\/p>\n He went on to share that his daughter was confused when he said he didn\u2019t actually know the man and accused him of lying to her.<\/p>\n He also shared that while watching the show, his youngest also didn\u2019t believe it was him on the screen.<\/p>\n
