<\/p>\nA TOP Dragons' Den star has sparked concern with an image showing him in a hospital bed.<\/p>\n
Duncan Bannatyne, 74, was seen in a blue medical gown and lying back as he prepared to be wheeled in for treatment.<\/p>\n

His wife Nigora, 43, captured the snap of the Dragon's Den star as she explained the situation to fans.<\/p>\n
In her caption, she wrote of the BBC star: "Ready for an endoscopy in one of the best hospitals in Portugal with the best medical care."<\/p>\n
Trying to stay upbeat, she then captured a snap showing Duncan propped up on hospital pillows as she flashed a pout at the camera.<\/p>\n
An endoscopy is a procedure in which the gastrointestinal tract is viewed by doctors through a fiber-optic camera known as an endoscope.<\/p>\n

A small tube is inserted – either through natural bodily openings, or strategically planned, small incisions.<\/p>\n
The endoscope helps medical professionals examine areas that cannot be easily seen outside the body: the esophagus, the stomach, the colon, or the small intestines, for example.<\/p>\n
Later in the day, Nigora gave a mini update.<\/p>\n
She took a selfie and accompanied with the words: "Waiting for my love Duncan Bannatyne fingers crossed all goes OK."<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n It is unclear if the TV favourite has now come around from sedation or what the next steps are.<\/p>\n Earlier this summer we revealed the pair's stunning Portuguese holiday home by the beach.<\/p>\n The couple are now opening the doors to the four-bed property to\u00a0Dragons' Den\u00a0fans and those eager for a luxury seaside escape.<\/p>\n With the villa in\u00a0Portugal's exclusive Vale de Lobo area, it is close to a host of exclusive golf courses as well as the glistening picture-perfect beach.<\/p>\n Duncan's spouse – whom he\u00a0married in Portugal in 2017\u00a0– added: "This villa without a doubt is the ideal option for a family or a group of friends who want to relax in contact with nature and enjoy the sanctuary and the power of the ocean!"<\/p>\n Images on\u00a0Airbnb\u00a0show the stunning multi-level property in full glory.<\/p>\n Duncan and Nigora met shortly after his divorce from wife number two, Joanna McCue, which was said to have cost him \u00a3345million – in 2011.<\/p>\n The entrepreneur has five daughters and one son from his previous marriages, while Nigora has one daughter from her former marriage.<\/p>\n Nigora\u00a0was working as a dentist's receptionist in London's Harley Street when the pair first met.<\/p>\n Despite not getting together for a while after, Duncan later admitted that the connection on his side was instantaneous.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/newspress-collage-24004966-1695161419199.jpg\")
