More info<\/p>\n He then states that he wants the two children, who were both born in the US and have lived the vast majority of their lives there, to be raised in both countries.<\/p>\n Then things start to get intense, as Joe states: “This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending.<\/p>\n “When language like \u2018abduction\u2019 is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst.<\/p>\n “The children were not abducted.”<\/p>\n It’s been revealed that the children are currently with their mother, having been in Joe’s care for the last three months.<\/p>\n The statement continues: “Sophie is making this claim only to move divorce proceedings to the UK and to remove the children from the US permanently.”<\/p>\n It ends by stating that Joe has “disavowed any and all statements purportedly mad eon his behalf that were disparaging of Sophie.”<\/p>\n He urgers her to reconssider her “harsh legal position” so that they can move forward, and his concern is “the well-being of the children”.<\/p>\n
