Queen Camilla likes &#8216;simple and easy&#8217; meals<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Michelin star chef Angela Hartnett made comments during Mirror interview\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>READ MORE: Secret of Camilla&#8217;s glow up revealed: The Queen does her make-up herself<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Michelin starred chef Angela Hartnett OBE has revealed what it is like to cook for Queen Camilla.<\/p>\n<p>She also opened up about how easy going the royal is when it comes to what she eats, while speaking during an interview with the Mirror.<\/p>\n<p>The chef cooked dinner at an event to launch the first ever Braemar Literary Festival in Fife last October.<\/p>\n<p>According to the 55-year-old, who is\u00a0one of Britain&#8217;s only female Michelin star chefs, Camilla is &#8216;really relaxed and easygoing&#8217;, and she said it was great to cook for the Queen.<\/p>\n<p>She also describe the royal, 76, as being a &#8216;a lovely lady&#8217; who is &#8216;a great wife to the King&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/24\/11\/75777619-12554697-image-m-44_1695551054482.jpg\" height=\"470\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Angela Hartnett OBE cooked at a dinner launching the\u00a0first-ever Braemar Literary Festival in Fife last October (pictured at the event L-R: Queen Camilla, Angela Hartnett)<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to what meal is &#8216;fit for a Queen&#8217;, Angela replied: &#8216;Anything and everything.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>She revealed that Camilla was &#8216;was like every other guest [she&#8217;s] ever cooked for&#8217;, saying &#8216;whatever is made for her, she&#8217;ll eat&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Angela added: &#8216;I think when you get to a certain age, without being rude, of course, and you\u2019re as busy as she is with so many engagements, you\u2019ll eat whatever is simple and easy.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to what the pair spoke about when they met, Angela says they conversed about Jack Russell dogs, as they both have one.<\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8216;When mine, Betty, went missing last year, Camilla was asking everyone whether she had been found \u2013 and she\u2019s met Betty now.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The admiration Angela has for Camilla appears to be mutual.<\/p>\n<p>In a 2022 interview\u00a0by her son, Tom Parker-Bowles, for You magazine, she said her last supper would <span>probably involve her own asparagus, with lots of butter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It would also feature\u00a0Angela Hartnett\u2019s risotto.\u00a0&#8216;I love her cooking,&#8217; said Camilla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/24\/11\/75777621-12554697-image-m-43_1695550673786.jpg\" height=\"1504\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Queen Camilla (pictured in France last week) has some simple tastes when it comes to food &#8211; but is a big fan of Angela Hartnett&#8217;s risotto and good claret<\/p>\n<p><span>She added the rest of her last supper would include: &#8216;Dover sole meuni\u00e9re, with ratte potatoes and fresh broad beans and peas from the garden.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>For pudding, she would opt for\u00a0bitter chocolate ice cream, plus strawberries and raspberries and lots of clotted cream.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And she would wash it down with a glass (probably two, she joked, as it was her last meal) of &#8216;really good&#8217;
