Jazzy Phoenix joined the BBC One soap in September, 2023, when she was first introduced as guest character Nadine Keller. <\/p>\n

Upon her debut, she met a grief-stricken Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) who was walking around the Square aimlessly in the middle of the night as he hasn't been able to sleep properly since Lola's death. <\/p>\n

Later on, the pair met up for a drink in The Queen Vic and viewers of the London-based program immediately speculated the newcomer to be keeping a secret. <\/p>\n

It was then made clear that Nadine wasn't a typical resident as she works as a prostitute and tried to seduce Jay. <\/p>\n

The hunk continues to see Nadine next week, as she has been the only one capable of giving him enough comfort to sleep during the night. <\/p>\n

Noticing something is not right, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) can't help but lay into Jay about his night-time disappearances while his husband Callum Highway (Tony Clay) is stuck in the midst of their bickering. <\/p>\n

Later, Callum tries to talk to Jay and offer him a shoulder to cry on, but Jay insists he's fine and just out connecting with new friends. <\/p>\n

A run-in with Nadine leaves Callum faintly amused at her attempts to pick him up, even when he reveals he is a police detective. <\/p>\n
