Prince William meets &#8216;very quick&#8217; female amateur boxer on a visit to a youth charity in Swindon<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Prince and Princess of Wales have proved they&#8217;re one step ahead of their royal peers when it comes to social media, posting a September look-back story on their official platforms this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Introducing highlights of a very busy last month, the couple&#8217;s social media team put together an impressive montage of clips &#8211; including marking the anniversary of the Queen&#8217;s death on September 8th, a trip to New York for Prince William and a podcast appearance with Mike Tindall\u00a0for both.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Instagram, the official @princeandprincessofwales\u00a0account tee&#8217;d up the story with a &#8216;Welcome to the September Rewind with The Prince and Princess of Wales&#8217;, with Twitter\u00a0fans getting a similar version.<\/p>\n<p>Kate and William&#8217;s social media presence has become increasingly impressive in recent months, with the couple clearly keen to find creative ways to highlight the many royal engagements they undertook in September.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/09\/76031777-12580763-image-a-23_1696149198329.jpg\" height=\"1001\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kate and William&#8217;s social media has become increasingly impressive, with the couple marking the first day of October by highlighting the many royal engagements they undertook in September<\/p>\n<p>There was a story dedicated to the Prince and Princess marking the first anniversary of the Queen&#8217;s death in Wales.<\/p>\n<p>The couple had used social media to mark the day at the time, writing: &#8216;Today we remember the extraordinary life and legacy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. We all miss you. W &amp; C.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>And today&#8217;s story showed the couple\u00a0attending a service at St David&#8217;s Cathedral in Pembrokeshire on September 8th.<\/p>\n<p>The couple had travelled by helicopter for the short service, which saw Kate poignantly place a floral tribute of white roses in front of a framed photograph of the Queen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/09\/76032157-12580763-image-a-24_1696149293689.jpg\" height=\"990\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>On September 8th, the Prince and Princess of Wales remembered the late Queen in a service at St David&#8217;s Cathedral in Pembrokeshire &#8211; later, the couple headed to the Rugby World Cup in France.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A story photo shows The Prince of Wales, patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, meeting the Welsh players after he&#8217;d joined the<span>\u00a042,000 crowd to watch Warren Gatland&#8217;s men take to the pitch during their opening Pool C game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile a photo of Kate Middleton sees her shaking hands with the England team, following their impressive win against Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>The Prince and Princess of Wales also appeared on Mike Tindall&#8217;s\u00a0@Goodbadrugby podcast, opening up about the reputation they have for being competitive with each other.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/09\/76032163-12580763-image-m-31_1696150528101.jpg\" height=\"482\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/09\/76032155-12580763-image-a-32_1696150532758.jpg\" height=\"482\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>The montage also highlighted the royals&#8217; focus on mental health &#8211; including a visit to a charity helping farmers in Herefordshire and a Bournemouth initiative that focuses on helping end homelessness<\/p>\n<p>William, alongside an animated Kate and Princess Anne, joined former England rugby ace Mike Tindall, 44, who is married to Zara, the Princess Royal&#8217;s daughter, on his show The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.<\/p>\n<p>Mike hosts the rugby podcast alongside former rugby player James Haskell and tv presenter Alex Payne.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/10\/76032153-12580763-image-a-33_1696151121018.jpg\" height=\"986\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The couple headed to Wales at the start of the month, visiting a project that encourages regenerative ocean farming<\/p>\n<p>And there was also mention in the montage of Prince of Wales&#8217; trip to New York to announce 15 finalists for the Earthshot Prize.<\/p>\n<p>The Prince of Wales began his two-day US visit in dramatic style, crossing the Hudson River with the Manhattan skyline in the background.<\/p>\n<p>William arrived from the UK on a commercial flight and travelled straight to Governors Island to meet students, volunteers and restaurateurs involved in the Billion Oyster Project, a unique initiative to restore oyster beds in New York harbour.<\/p>\n<p>He stood in the bow of the boat with Pete Malinowski, co-founder and executive director of the Billion Oyster Project, as it travelled to the outcrop at the centre of the operation.<\/p>\n<p>Manhattan&#8217;s skyline was clearly visible despite the persistent rain which had ended a mini September heatwave in the Big Apple, with the top floors of the highest skyscrapers shrouded in mist.<\/p>\n<p>During his visit William will promote his Earthshot Prize which aims to celebrate and scale up solutions to &#8216;repair&#8217;
