The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2023 induction ceremony will be streamed live for the first time, as Disney+<\/i> has picked up rights for the live broadcast. <\/p>\n
Disney+<\/i> will livestream the event from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on November 3 at 8 p.m. ET\/5 PT and be available for streaming on-demand following the ceremony.<\/p>\n
Last year, an edited version of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony aired on HBO<\/i> several weeks following the event.<\/p>\n
“This historic live stream on Disney+ and special on ABC is a testament to the diverse sounds and enduring power of rock and roll,” said John Sykes<\/b>, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. “Over the last three decades, the annual live Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction has become music’s highest honor, celebrating the artists who’ve defined generations and changed music forever.”<\/p>\n
This year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees include Kate Bush<\/b>, Sheryl Crow<\/b>, Missy Elliott<\/b>, George Michael<\/b>, Willie Nelson<\/b>, Rage Against the Machine<\/b> and The Spinners<\/b>, along with DJ Kool Herc<\/b> and Link Wray<\/b> for musical influence, and Chaka Khan<\/b>, Al Kooper<\/b>, Bernie Taupin<\/b> for musical excellence. Don Cornelius<\/b> will also be honored with the Ahmet Ertegn Award.<\/p>\n
Brandi Carlile<\/b>, Dave Matthews<\/b>, H.E.R.<\/b>, Chris Stapleton<\/b>, St. Vincent<\/b>, New Edition<\/b> and others are also slated to perform. <\/p>\n
