She and I have a great relationship. Both raising that boy\u00a0<span>together. There wasn\u2019t anything wrong with it. This is not for her. But I\u2019ve got no hard feelings\u2026I\u2019m very lucky that she\u2019s a kind human. I really am.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Josh, who is from Minot, North Dakota, described why he doesn&#8217;t feel the Hollywood lifestyle is for him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I don\u2019t think I ever really got comfortable with all of it. It was a lot. I just missed the simplicity of who I really am, you know?<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I\u2019m just not a guy who is comfortable going to red carpets. Doing all the Hollywood stuff. Hollywood and L.A. and that whole lifestyle can suck the soul out of you if you\u2019re not careful,&#8217; he mused.<\/p>\n<p>Parts of the interview took place in Minnesota, where Duhamel owns a lakeside cabin.<\/p>\n<p>While chatting with the host, he opened up: &#8216;It just took me a long time to really feel like I belong, like I fit in. Having this place out here really allows me to get back to that kid that fell in love with nature, fell in love with the outdoors and being creative and just being active.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Bringing up his wife, he said, &#8216;That\u2019s why Audra&#8217;s so great for me. We\u2019re both hardcore North Dakotans\u2026We both love lake life. We both love family. She really is.
