Coronation Street\u2019s Todd Boyce has revealed some more details about how Stephen Reid\u2019s storyline will end.<\/p>\n
This comes after he promised viewers that the long-awaited comeuppance of killer Stephen will be \u2018satisfying\u2019.<\/p>\n
And he\u2019s now teased what it won\u2019t look like \u2013 a familiar sight for some.<\/p>\n
Stephen returned in June last year, after originally appearing in the series between 1996 and 2007.<\/p>\n
His first departure saw him leave in a taxi, and he\u2019s promised this time it won\u2019t be the same.<\/p>\n
Appearing on Friday\u2019s This Morning with Alison Hammond and Dermot O\u2019Leary, Todd explained: \u2018They say that the most anodyne exit you can have is getting into the back of a cab, which I did last time on the Cobbles.<\/p>\n

\u2018This time, I\u2019m not leaving in a cab I can tell you that much.\u2019<\/p>\n
When Alison probed whether Stephen will be leaving in a \u2018hearse\u2019, Todd played coy, hinting \u2018no\u2019.<\/p>\n
He added: \u2018Some of the audience will be pleased with the result and some may not.\u2019<\/p>\n

Stephen, as viewers know, has\u00a0claimed three lives since rocking up on the eponymous street last year\u00a0and destroyed countless more.<\/p>\n
The crazed serial killer\u2019s days, however, are numbered, with next week\u2019s outings of the\u00a0ITV\u00a0serial drama, which air during Super Soap Week, unmissable as his sins finally catch up with him.<\/p>\n
Todd recently told Metro.co.uk that his character\u2019s ending will be worth the wait, saying: \u2018I think it will be satisfying with the audience.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s hard to talk about without giving away too much detail but I think the audience will be pleased with it.<\/p>\n
\u2018I hope people who have sense of who Stephen is, even if they don\u2019t watch every episode [of Corrie], start tuning in now because it\u2019s a fantastic Super Soap Week \u2013 it\u2019s a different Super Soap Week. It\u2019s thriller-esque.\u2019<\/p>\n
