<\/p>\nJonnie Irwin had a huge smile on his face as he got back to work amid his cancer battle.<\/p>\n
The A Place In The Sun presenter \u2013 who is fighting terminal lung cancer that has now spread to his brain \u2013 shared a snap on Instagram as he worked on BBC Morning Live. It showed him beaming as he told his followers what it meant to him to be shooting again.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo good to be back filming for @bbcmorninglive,\u201d wrote the TV star, 49. "We\u2019ve just shot two short films about renovating your home and what to look out for."<\/p>\n

He went on: "I think my smug smile betrays the lack of a massive commute for once and the extra couple of hours I got in my scratcher as we filmed in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I\u2019ll let you know when they are due to go out, when I know myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans said they were thrilled to see the popular father-of-three looking so well as he got back to work. \u201cKeep fighting the good fight,\u201d one person urged.<\/p>\n
\u201cBack on TV where you belong and looking totally amazing!\u201d said another. Someone else wrote in the comments section: \u201cYou look fantastic and your eyes are sparkling.\u201d Others said that the presenter looked "great".<\/p>\n

The Escape To The Country star announced last year that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer, saying that he didn\u2019t know how long he had left but wanted to \u201cmake memories\u201d with his wife Jess and their little boys – Rex, four, and three-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac. <\/p>\n
He was actually diagnosed with cancer in 2020 but kept it quiet for bit, and has since said that he did so because he was worried it would hurt his career and affect his ability to provide for his family.<\/p>\n
