Alex Scott shared a happy birthday message for rumoured girlfriend Jess Glynne, who turns 34 today, on her Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n

“Happy new song day and new you day!” she exclaimed, in reference to the single ‘Friend of Mine’, which the songstress is releasing today.<\/p>\n

Attached to the affectionate message was a bikini-clad snapshot of Jess perched beside the pool in a brown two piece, enjoying a spectacular sunset.<\/p>\n

Alex also shared the words: “Knowing a person is like music. What attracts us to them is their melody.<\/p>\n

“And as we get to know who they are, we learn their lyrics.”<\/p>\n

Former footballer Alex has never labelled her sexuality, but did go public about dating a woman previously, revealing in her autobiography How (Not) To Be Strong that she’d fallen “madly in love” with ex Kelly Smith.<\/p>\n

“For me, it’s like that first love story, I fell madly and deeply in love – and yes, there’s that heartbreak… but it’s a huge part of my life and I wouldn’t go back and change that,” she explained.<\/p>\n

In March, Alex told Grazia that she was single and “ready to mingle”, but was shunning internet apps as she preferred a more “instant” connection with a date.<\/p>\n

Now it has been reported that Alex and singer Jess have been in a secret relationship for a few months, with the pair attending events together and being seen embracing.<\/p>\n
