<\/p>\nSUPERMARKETS have already started to release times that you can book deliveries in the run-up to the big day.<\/p>\n
Some are giving first dibs to customers who pay for an annual delivery pass \u2013 so now is the perfect time to consider signing up.<\/p>\n

If you\u00a0buy your groceries\u00a0online each week from the same supermarket, a delivery pass can save you up to \u00a3280 a year.<\/p>\n
And if you don\u2019t end up using it as much as you planned, supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury\u2019s, Asda and Morrisons will refund you the difference in vouchers between the price of the pass and the cost in charges without it.<\/p>\n

Tesco\u00a0is giving customers who pay for an annual delivery pass first dibs.<\/p>\n The supermarket's delivery plan and click-and-collect delivery plans have meant that customers can book their slots since 6am on Tuesday, November 7.<\/p>\n This gives customers a two-week head start on regular shoppers, who will have to wait until November 21 to nab a slot.<\/p>\n Delivery passes allow you to pay a flat fee either monthly, yearly or six monthly, and then get your deliveries for free.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n If you're a regular online shopper, this could be\u00a0a way of reducing costs.<\/p>\n But should only consider taking out a delivery pass if you order groceries online regularly, and if you think it will save you money in the long term.<\/p>\n An anytime delivery plan costs \u00a37.99 per month for 12 months and gives priority access to both click and collect slots and Christmas home delivery.<\/p>\n You can also pay an upfront fee of \u00a347.94 if you don't want to pay monthly – this works out at \u00a33.99 a month.<\/p>\n The supermarket's anytime click and collect plan, priced at \u00a32.49 a month, gives priority access to click and collect Christmas slots.<\/p>\n If you chose to pay annually, this works out at \u00a314.49, or \u00a31.25 a month.<\/p>\n But the supermarket's off peak delivery plan doesn't offer priority access to Christmas delivery slots.<\/p>\n Shoppers can collect and redeem Clubcard points on their Christmas shop.<\/p>\n Tesco's Clubcard\u00a0scheme\u00a0allows shoppers to earn points as they shop, these points can then be turned into vouchers for money off food or other reward partner schemes.\u00a0<\/p>\n Each time you spend \u00a31\u00a0in-store and online, you get one point when you scan your card or app.<\/p>\n One point equals 1p, so 150 points gets you \u00a31.50, for example.<\/p>\n You'll need a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.<\/p>\n These vouchers can either be worth the face value to spend in-store at\u00a0Tesco, or you can double their worth to spend at reward partners, including restaurants, and on days out.<\/p>\n Loyalty card holders can also get cheaper prices on over 8,000 items thanks to Clubcard Prices.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Screenshot-2023-11-07-091355.png\")
