Willie Nelson<\/b> announced during his guest appearance on Stephen Colbert<\/b>‘s “The Late Show” on Thursday (November 2) that his 90th Birthday Special Concert will air on CBS Television Network<\/i> and Paramount+<\/i> on December 17.<\/p>\n
“I’m ready for it,” Nelson told Colbert on the show.<\/p>\n
The concert special will features performances from a slew of celebrity singers, including Beck<\/b>, Gary Clark Jr.<\/b>, Sheryl Crow<\/b>, Snoop Dogg<\/b>, Norah Jones<\/b>, Miranda Lambert<\/b>, Dave Matthews<\/b>, Keith Richards<\/b>, and Willie himself.<\/p>\n
Nelson’s sons Lukas Nelson<\/b> and Micah Nelson<\/b> are also set to perform, alongside George Strait<\/b> and Chris Stapleton<\/b>. Jennifer Garner<\/b>, Chelsea Handler<\/b>, Woody Harrelson<\/b>, Ethan Hawke<\/b>, Helen Mirren<\/b> and Owen Wilson<\/b> have been confirmed as the concert hosts.<\/p>\n
Beck, Strait, Snoop Dogg, Lambert, Norah, Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthews, Tom Jones<\/b>, The Chicks<\/b>, and Stapleton performed at the “Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90, A Star-Studded Concert Celebrating Willie’s 90th Birthday,” spread across two-dates at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this year.<\/p>\n
“It was great. A little surreal, of course, but I loved every minute of it,” Nelson told Cobert on “The Late Show.”<\/p>\n
