I have never heard of this happening before,&#8221;&#8216; she began the anecdote in a one-minute, 39-second video shared this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She went on to explain that she was watching a movie with her parents when her phone dinged, notifying her she&#8217;d gotten a direct message on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/01\/16\/78443187-12811715-image-m-1_1701447293340.jpg\" height=\"719\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jamie Strazzero, from Massachusetts, revealed an unsettling incident in which an Amazon employee messaged her on Facebook after she claims he got her information off her package<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/01\/19\/78484061-12811715-image-m-2_1701458976330.jpg\" height=\"882\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The woman spent the ensuing days chasing down people to assist her through Amazon customer service<\/p>\n<p>It turned out to be from a stranger she wasn&#8217;t Facebook friends with \u2014 and they&#8217;d sent her a note that said, &#8216;I got your package here,&#8217; along with a photo of Jamie&#8217;s Amazon package, seemingly taken from a facility somewhere.<\/p>\n<p>At first believing it to be a scam, Jamie was shocked when the person then messaged her: &#8216;Sorry I was just bored.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;So an employee of Amazon looked at my package, took their phone out, looked my name up, found me on Facebook, and sent me a private message,&#8217; Jamie recapped.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Am I the only one who thinks this is wicked freaking creepy? Like I know Amazon has all my personal information. I shop there literally every day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;But why would an employee get on their phone and look up one of the customers based off their package, and then send them a picture of their package?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Alarmed, Jamie immediately got in touch with Amazon&#8217;s customer service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The first guy at Amazon is like, &#8220;Oh my god, so creepy. Really, really creepy. This has never happened before. Then the supervisor is like, &#8220;Yah this is really creepy. They are not allowed to have phones on the floor. If the [supervisor] won&#8217;t do anything reach out to Amazon [HR],&#8217; a third pointed out.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I do data entry in freight delivery, and like, I&#8217;ve WANTED to find the lady who gets 6k lbs of tortillas a month, but I would never ACTUALLY???&#8217; a fourth admitted.<\/p>\n<p>Another TikTok user chimed in with a similar story to share, &#8216;Like after I had surgery I had a [Facebook] friend request from the surgeon tech the next day!
