THEY own glittering tiaras and jaw-dropping palaces – so what do the royal family buy each other for Christmas?<\/p>\n
Despite their vast wealth, Prince<\/span> William<\/span> and Kate Middleton want to keep their three kids \u201cgrounded\u201d when it comes to Christmas presents, according to a royal expert.<\/p>\n Every year the royal family flock to Sandringham for the festive period, with the Prince and Princess of Wales<\/span> taking Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the nearby Anmer Hall.<\/p>\n Presents are opened on Christmas Eve, which is a German tradition that was incorporated in the royal family's celebrations by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.<\/p>\n Speaking to OK! royal expert Jennie Bond shared: "I think William and Kate are very keen to keep their children\u2019s feet on the ground, so not spoil them too much at Christmas.<\/p>\n "But what parent can resist it, if the money<\/span> is available? So I expect there will be some pretty cool boys\u2019 toys for George and Louis, and something girlie for Charlotte.<\/p>\n
