TWININGS\u00a0fans have been left devastated as the tea giant confirmed a beloved flavour won't be seen on shelves ever again.<\/strong><\/p>\n The beverage maker apologised to a Twinings lover who said he could not buy his favourite Seasons Greetings Christmas tea this holiday season.<\/p>\n The chap tweeted: "Sad that we haven\u2019t been able to buy any of this this year.<\/p>\n "Trying other brands but they\u2019re not the same. <\/p>\n "What have you done with this?"<\/p>\n Another fan wrote: "Twinings seasons greetings Christmas tea is my favorite and I am desperate to find more."<\/p>\n The team at Twinings later replied: "We're afraid our Seasons Greetings Christmas Tea is no longer available as sadly, this was discontinued due to a lack of demand.<\/p>\n "We're really sorry & will pass your interest on to our Product Development team."<\/p>\n The Christmas-themed tea flavour chop comes after mince pie lovers went wild when M&S launched a twist to the original recipe.<\/p>\n But some critics did not welcome the change.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Shoppers said they need to get their hands on the new chocolate and hazelnut mince pies at\u00a0Marks & Spencer.<\/p>\n The\u00a0news\u00a0was shared on a\u00a0Facebook\u00a0page specialised in announcing the UK's latest food products.<\/p>\n The packaging described it as an "all butter pastry, filled with out Collection mincemeat, topped with an indulgent chocolate and hazelnut truffle layer, finished with caramelised hazelnuts."<\/p>\n The picture got more than 1,000 likes but has left\u00a0social media\u00a0users divided.<\/p>\n Among the hundreds of comments, one person wrote: "I need these."<\/p>\n Another said: "Get rid of the mincemeat and these would be delicious."<\/p>\n A third replied: "I am trying these definitely."<\/p>\n Meanwhile, original mince pie fans did not welcome the recipe twist that much, with one writing: "Why destroy a good mince pie?"<\/p>\n Another added: "Don't mess with an original mince pie."<\/p>\n
