Fans of This Morning were left in two minds as model Lisa Snowdon hosted the show alongside Dermot O'Leary.

On Friday's instalment of the popular programme (December 15), it was Lisa's turn to try out the hosting gig. Standing in for usual Friday presenter Alison Hammond, model Lisa looked comfortable as she hosted the show with ease.

Lisa, 51, is not an unfamiliar face to This Morning viewers as she regularly presents the fashion segment on the show. However, over the last few weeks, there have been several different presenters at the helm which has appeared to have left viewers rather perplexed.

With Lisa being the latest star of This Morning, some viewers were left unsure about her new position and headed over to X formerly known as Twitter to share their opinions. One fan of the show wrote: "Turns on #thismorning, Lisa Snowdon presenting….off you go. They are beyond scraping the barrel now."

Another penned: "So now they've got the competition & fashion woman Snowdon standing in for Hammond ffs." While another fan added how "inconsistent" the show is all together and wrote: "#ThisMorning is so inconsistent with presenters they now just have generic cartoon characters in their opening credits."

But others seemed to like Lisa and Dermot, as one viewer wrote: "Like Dermot and Lisa together. Dermot doesn't seem as childish like he is when he appears with Alison."

Another echoed: Enjoyed@radioleary &@Lisa_Snowdon today." While another agreed and said: "Love @lisa_snowdon on #thismorning. Please can she stay?"

Earlier this week, fans were forced to do a double take after they thought Holly Willoughby had returned to the show. On Tuesday's programme The Saturdays star Mollie King hosted the show alongside Dermot.

Taking to X at the time, one confused viewer said: "Thought that was Holly back presenting for a moment but it's Mollie." While another agreed and said: "I just switched telly on and thought Holly’s back on #ThisMorning I was wrong it’s another Saturday girly. Good luck to her she’s very smiley but missing Rylan and Emma/Alison actually."

After months of different hosts on This Morning following Holly and Phillip Schofield's departure, producers have apparently found who they want to present the show on a permanent basis. According to reports, Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley are both set for big-money deals as the new faces of the ITV programme.
