Josie Gibson rushed straight to hospital after the Jungle<\/h3>\n

This Morning’s Josie Gibson has detailed a serious health issue that saw her hospitalised following her stint on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here. Speaking on Loose Women the presenter revealed that she ended up in A&E after becoming unwell on the flight home from the jungle.<\/p>\n

She told the panel that she started to have difficulty breathing and headed to the casualty department to be seen by doctors. “I was on the plane home and I just began to feel really unwell, I was shivering and when I got back I had severe tonsillitis,” she confided.<\/p>\n

“I couldn’t breathe so I got taken to hospital on Friday and they put me on a drip and gave me loads of steroids to bring the swelling down so I could breathe again, it was a bit touch and go whether I could have made This Morning so I just want to thank everybody who works in the RUH in Bath.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old mum of one was the last women standing in the jungle reality show and narrowly missed out on a place in the final. She ultimately came fourth finding herself eliminated the night before the deciding episode.<\/p>\n

She finally returned to her presenting role on This Morning last Monday, December 18. However, some viewers branded her return “over the top”.<\/p>\n

During the episode, Josie entered the studio wearing a silver sequin pencil skirt, a white fitted jumper and a hat similar to the one she wore in the jungle.<\/p>\n

The host was cheered and called the show’s Queen of the Jungle as she hugged and kissed her colleagues who were lined up waiting to greet her.<\/p>\n

She gave co-host Craig Doyle a huge hug and told him she’d missed him before she had to sit down on her very own throne.<\/p>\n

Before Josie sat down, she told Craig: “I have missed you so much. I wasn’t the winner, but thank you<\/p>\n
