Gyles Begs Mary 'Please No More Scissoring'
Gogglebox viewers have called for long-running couple Mary Killen and Giles Wood to leave the Channel 4 show.
The couple first joined the series back in 2015 and quickly became fan favourites for their dry sense of humour and quick-witted responses.
However, during the latest episode on Friday night, it seemed the husband and wife duo didn’t impress watchers, as many are now calling for them to leave the cast.
Taking to Twitter, @anniebev6 said: “Giles & Mary are just not funny anymore.”
@DrHannibalecter added: “Please get rid of Mary and Giles.”

@CarlosHart02 tweeted: “Am I the only one who cannot stomach Giles and Mary?”
However, it seemed as though some were still in favour of the duo as @nichola_daly wrote: “Mary & Gilles are the funniest pair”(sic)

As the episode kicked off, Mary stunned Giles by cutting her sandwich with a pair of scissors, which he said looked like a “dog’s dinner”.
However, it was their commentary on a snippet from Married At First Sight that sparked fury with fans.
With one bride on the dating show saying she wanted the fairytale wedding, Mary commented: “Well, the trouble is Prince Charmings have been cancelled.
“You’re not allowed to sweep women off their feet now because it’s patronising and patriarchal isn’t it.”
Her husband asked: “Is it a hate crime?”
With Mary replying: “Yes, I think so.”
Calls for them to leave the show come after long-running favourite Stephen Webb and his husband Daniel Lustig-Webb decided to quit the new series.
After 10 years on the series, Stephen thanked his followers for their support over the years with many sad to see him leave.
